DataBynk and your privacy
This notice covers the DataBynk website. The formal company details of the data controller will be added.
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email jlangens@moneybynk.com.
What information is processed?
When you visit, the hosting environment receives technical information such as your IP address, the time, the requested page and browser information. Depending on your browser, the referring page may also be included.
The question field on the homepage works locally in your browser. The website does not store its contents in a database or submit them to our server. The enquiry button opens a draft in your own email app for jlangens@gmail.com. You send the message yourself. Your browser or email app may retain text or drafts.
If you email us yourself, we receive the information you include, such as your name, email address and message. This website has no account registration or newsletter sign-up.
Purposes and lawful bases
We use technical information to operate the website, investigate faults and prevent misuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure, working website.
We answer enquiries about a possible project to take steps at your request before entering a contract. We handle other messages based on our legitimate interest in business communication. Handling privacy requests and any statutory retention requirements is based on a legal obligation.
We do not sell visitor data or build advertising profiles. The website does not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Hosting and recipients
The website runs on Microsoft Azure App Service in Belgium Central. Microsoft processes technical information to deliver, secure and maintain the hosting service. There are no third-party advertisements, analytics pixels, embedded videos or external fonts.
A European server location does not mean every technical operation takes place exclusively in Europe. Support and security may involve international processing. See Microsoft’s data processing terms and its information on international transfers and safeguards.
If you email us, the mail services involved also process your message and address. Authorised people use them to handle your enquiry. Links may take you to other websites, where that provider’s policy applies.
Retention and security
The website does not retain form submissions, visitor profiles or account data. Text may remain in your own browser or as an email draft.
The web app does not keep visitor logs: access logging and application logging are disabled. Outside this web app, Microsoft may process technical information to operate and secure its platform. Retention periods for any such platform data are still being confirmed.
We keep messages and privacy requests as long as needed to handle them and any follow-up, or as required by a legal obligation or dispute. Access is limited to people who need it. The website uses HTTPS to encrypt the connection.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of the use of your personal data. Depending on the processing, you may also have a right to portability and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we ask for consent, you may withdraw it.
We normally handle a request within one month. Complex or multiple requests may require an extension; we will inform you within the first month. We may ask for information to confirm that the data relates to you. Please do not send an identity document without being asked.
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email jlangens@moneybynk.com.
You may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or the competent supervisory authority where you live or work. Read more about the right to information.
Cookies and changes
Our cookie policy explains the current use of cookies and local storage. We update this notice when the website or processing changes. The latest update date appears at the top.
